A place created from the heart — born out of a love for storytelling and a desire to write about the moments that touch the softest parts of us… and reveal our greatest strength.
If you’re visiting for the first time, I hope you feel at home.
If you’ve been here before — thank you for continuing this journey with me.
Today, I want to share a little more about the intention behind my first books, and the quiet impulses that led me to write them.
When I began working on Behind Smile, I had one guiding purpose: to explore what truly lives behind the smiles we show the world. That subtle expression that can hide us or connect us. The look that speaks louder than anything we manage to say out loud. The moments when we try to stay strong, even though something inside us trembles, breaks open, or quietly transforms. For me, Behind Smile was a journey into the depths of emotion — the quiet ones, the unspoken ones, the real ones. A journey into the stories we carry but often hesitate to name. Into the questions we avoid because the answers feel too heavy… or perhaps too freeing. Somewhere in between those words, the truest version of me began to take shape — the writer who no longer feared looking inward.
When I started writing The Little Sparrow and the Courage to Dream, my attention shifted to a different kind of inner landscape. I found myself thinking about everyone who hesitates before taking their first flight. Those who have been holding onto small, gentle dreams for years. Those who long for change but don’t feel ready — not yet. Those who have stumbled over doubt, over the weight of others’ opinions, over the challenge of believing in themselves. The Little Sparrow is a story about courage — not the loud kind, not the sudden kind, but the courage that grows in stillness. The courage that appears quietly, in the moment when we finally say to ourselves:
“I’m ready.”
Every story I write begins in that space — between one breath and the next. Between fear and trust. Between what is familiar and what is just beginning to come alive. Between the soft smile of Behind Smile… and the first flutter of Sparrow’s wings. And maybe that’s why you’re here.
Maybe you’re reading these words because something gentle — yet powerful — is awakening in you too. Maybe it’s your moment.
So tell me…
do you feel it’s time to fly?
